Falvey’s Earthworks is seeking a strong field leader to join our team. Our company takes on a wide variety of projects covering all aspects of site construction and select landscape work. Position Overview

The Working Supervisor is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for guiding a crew and ensuring assigned projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This position oversees daily site operations while actively participating in the work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, skilled trade diploma, or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Class A CDL preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in the excavation or site construction industry with demonstrated leadership
• Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications

Responsibilities

• Organize, manage, and lead crew members to meet daily and long‑term project goals
• Oversee and maintain an active job site, ensuring machinery and tools remain safe and in proper working order
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and issues with mechanics
• Schedule and work alongside subcontractors as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, architects, government officials, subcontractors, and team members
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and quality standards are met
